Columbia River Decoys Inc. has decided to offer guided duck and goose hunts on our private properties starting the 2011-2012 season. We are licensed and insured in the state of Oregon and we are dedicated to making sure you have a great time, shoot some birds and enjoy the outdoor lifestyle we have grown to love.
We have several areas to hunt so we are not tied down to one pond or field. We can be mobile and move to whatever property the birds are using to get the best results. Our areas are planted in Biologic food plots, corn, millet, winter wheat and then flooded. We also have some flooded pastures, timber holes and more options when the water comes up.
Our main property and the base camp of operations is located in Sherwood, Oregon about one mile west of the Tualatin River National Wildlife Refuge which is the main staging area for ducks and geese in this part of the I-5 corridor.Our waterfowl season starts in October and we will start offering hunts as soon as we get the first major migration of birds on our properties.
We have an exclusive relationship with Ducks and Dogs Inc. in Monmouth Oregon and we have private use of their whole facility for every Sunday of the 2011-2012 waterfowl season. We have use of the clubhouse and all the equipment, all you have to do is show up to hunt. This property has 5 ponds and totals 66 acres of the most pristine bottom land in the state and the owners keep this property well manicured. This is without a doubt a first class operation with everything from a heated pit blind to driving you to the blind in the morning with the Polaris Ranger. There is a fully heated clubhouse stacked with the best and latest gear for every situation that can come up. There is also a brand new clubhouse that sleeps 4 with satellite television to make you feel right at home.

Sherwood Properties: $250 per person per hunt These properties allow us to have morning or afternoon duck hunts or morning goose hunts.
Ducks and Dogs Inc. Property in Monmouth Or: $250 per person per morning duck hunt You can also customize your hunt $50 fee for BBQ lunch for up to 4 people $100 Dinner for 4 the night before the hunt Steaks, Baked Potatoes.....and more. $30 per person lodging, maximum 4 people

WHAT TO BRING ON YOUR HUNT
1.Oregon Small Game Hunting license, Federal Duck Stamp, Oregon State HIP validation for waterfowl. NW Goose Permit required for goose hunting http://www.dfw.state.or.us/resources/hunting/
2.Comfortable Camoflauge Waders Waterproof knee boots or bibs depending on the hunt.
3.Shotgun, 12 gauge recommended non toxic shells (steel, bismuth, etc.) 4.Camo clothing, hat and facemask. Mossy Oak Shadowgrass, or Mossy Oak Duck Blind patterns work best) 5.Clothing so you are prepared for the weather cold, rainy, etc.
6.Eye and ear protection is recommended. 7.Snacks, drinks, camera

CRD Guide Service is owned and operated by Mario Friendy. Mario has 30 plus years hunting waterfowl under his belt and has guided for over 10 years now. He worked for Mike Franklin's Pacific Wings in West Richland Washington for several years and that is where Mario learned an incredible amount of knowledge that he applies in the field today. Mario currently runs the Amstad Duck and Goose Clubs in Sherwood, Oregon and has done that for the last 10 years.
